EA SPORTS FC Ramadan Tournament
TERMS & CONDITIONS
CONSOLE:
- The designated tournaments will be held on the Zawaya Gaming tournament platform.
- EA SPORTS FC Console tournaments will take place in Ultimate Team mode, starting from the 27th of February, with qualifiers taking place until the 10th of March and playoffs held from 16th of March until the 18th.
- Console qualifiers will be held on the Sony tournament platform.
- Console playoffs will be held on the Zawaya Gaming tournament platform.
- The top 16 players will be qualified for the live broadcast that will take place on 19th March.
- Matches will be held in a Home & Away format
- The top 8 finalists will be qualified for the live event that will be held in Riyadh on 29th March.
MOBILE:
- There will be 2 qualifiers which will take place.
- Mobile qualifier 1 will take place starting from 4th of March till the 8th.
- Mobile qualifier 2 will take place starting 11th of March till the 17th.
- The final top 8 players from each qualifiers will be qualified for the live broadcast.
- The top 8 from qualifier 1 and 2 (Top 16 total) will be seeded into 4 groups (A/B/C/D) on the 18th of March.
- Matches will be held in a group-stage format and in a Home & Away match setting
- The 1st seed of each group will qualify to the finals directly.
- The 2nd seed of each group will be placed into a Last-Chance-Qualifier (LCQ)
- The LCQ will be held in a Semi-Final bracket on the 18th of March and will qualify the top 3 players to join finals.
- The 3rd and 4th seeds will be eliminated from the tournament.
MAIN STAGE TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
To facilitate the visa processing for the top 8 qualified players to attend the finals, it is mandatory for the top 16 players to ensure that their passports have a validity extending at least six months beyond the date of the final match i.e. The passport does not expire before 26th of November 2024. Players failing to meet this passport validity requirement will be responsible for any delays or complications in the visa application process.
It is the responsibility of each player to verify and confirm their passport validity well in advance of the finals to avoid any disruptions to their participation. The tournament organizers will not be held accountable for any visa-related issues arising from inadequate passport validity, and non-compliance with this rule may result in disqualification from the tournament.
Players are strongly advised to review their passport expiration dates and take necessary actions to renew or extend them if needed, ensuring a smooth and timely visa application process for their participation in the finals.
The tournament rules may be subject to change at short notice on the spot.
PRIZE DETAILS
- The winner of the event will receive 2 UEFA Champions League Final Tickets + Flight + Accommodation/Hotel + £500 + Transportation between the Airport to the Hotel and the stadium.
- The prize listed above cannot be transferred, modified or redeemed in cash.
- The winner will be solely responsible for securing their own visa to the live final in the UK.
COMPETITION GUIDELINES
- Any rule being broken may lead to disciplinary action. This action will be at the discretion of the organizer, Zawaya Gaming, and the situation will be taken into account. Punishment may include, but not be limited to, forfeits, replays, penalty points, kicks, temporary and permanent bans.
- All participants in any competition will be required to uphold the highest standards and observe common sportsmanship. Racism will NOT be tolerated. If you are seen to be racist in any capacity, then you will have action taken against you. Being abusive in any way towards fellow players or admins will also result in disciplinary action.
- The minimum age to qualify is 16 Y/O on or before 27/02/2024. Any participant between the age of 16 - 18 will require parental consent which may be requested by the organizer at any time.
- The event organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant for violation of the terms and conditions or disruptive behavior.
- Any form of cheating, glitching, abusing in-game mechanics, or unsportsmanlike behavior may result in a forfeit of a Match Ban, or Ban from Events. Punishable unsportsmanlike behavior includes but is not limited to, excessive use of foul or degrading language. In addition, breaking any rule may result in a forfeit of a Game, forfeit of a Match, Verbal Warning or Ban from Events.
- All players MUST be contactable via email and phone number.
- No warm-up or practice games are permitted once the bracket is made live. Players must play at their designated time slots. Playing at a different time slot is not permitted unless approved by the organizer “Zawaya Gaming” in writing.
- Prizes will be distributed to winners 30 days after the conclusion of EA SPORTS FC RAMADAN tournament.
* In the case of a dispute or any issues, the organizer has the final say on all matters pertaining to the matter.
* The organizer reserves the right to request documentation proof in the form of a Valid ID or similar from players. The request will be done by Email or Phone. Failure to submit the requested documents, will result in the player being automatically disqualified.
* The tournament rules may be subject to change at short notice on the spot.
EVIDENCE - INCLUDING SCREENSHOTS AND RECORDED VIDEOS
- Players are expected to collect evidence of messages sent and received, as well as the final score at the end of every match.
- Failure to produce sufficient evidence of rule breaking will result in the opponent being put through to the next round.
- Evidence is expected to be time and date stamped, showing your opponent’s GT and in video format. Photo evidence is only acceptable for messages sent and received.
- Competitors are advised to record their games at all times in case review is needed

HOST
- If you are unable to connect to your opponent you must contact an admin ASAP. Failure to connect may result in disqualification for both players after 60 minutes. If an admin has been advised, both players will have the remainder of the round to connect or both players will be removed. Ultimately, the decision to qualify or disqualify a player is done by the organizer.
- When having problems with connection, we advise both players to contact an admin and then to Unfriend your opponent, reset your PC/Console, reset your routers and then re-add each other on to your friends list.
- If you or your opponent lags out during the match; the match must be re-started, however, the score and time at the point when the player disconnected shall still stand and will be taken into consideration once match is over.

REPORTING
- Both players must report the Match results within 10 minutes of its completion.
- To report the Match results, players must report the Match Score accurately, along with a clear image for proof. The Match Score can then be reported i.e. 3-0 or 3-1, etc.
- If both Players enter the result differently, a member of the Admin Team will be notified of the discrepancy and will intervene. The result will then be adjusted upon conclusion of the dispute.
- Players found to be deliberately misentering results WILL face disciplinary action from the organizer.
- If a Match is not played, and neither player reports a No Show, both players will be removed after the round has ended.

GENERAL RULES
- Competitors will need to add each other as friends in the game.
- All players MUST message their opponent to ensure both players are ready for the match, which is to be played at the designated time.
- A player has 20 minutes from when they have an opponent to start the match, failure to do so will result in a forfeit.
- It is the player's responsibility to check Gamertags / PSN ID before the fixture is played to make sure that all players are eligible to play.
- In case of a dispute, players must file a complaint to the organizer before the match is complete.
These may be subject to change at any time prior to the tournament. Please refer to the tournament guidelines, rules and conditions in the game card prior to the game time.
RECORDING AND VIDEO RIGHTS
- It is mandatory for all players taking part in the tournament to record their matches. Zawaya Gaming and its Partners hold all rights to use all streamed/recorded footage during and after the event.
- Players must record all games they play during the qualifiers and playoffs.
- Failure to do so will result in disciplinary action, including but not limited to disqualification
- The tournament rules may be subject to change at short notice or on the spot.
- Every Participant acknowledges the right for the Administration to modify the rules and regulations for adjustments at any time without notice and if necessary overrule those to ensure fair play and integrity throughout the Tournament.
ORGANIZER’S AUTHORITY
- The event organizers have the final say on all matters pertaining to the event.
- Any disputes or issues will be resolved by the organizers, and their decisions are considered final.
